Is your child bright and creative?  Are they good at math and science, or maybe a talented artist or athlete?  At the same time, are they completely frustrated by reading, spelling, and writing?

You’re not alone.  1 in 5 children struggle to learn to read, write, and spell by traditional teaching methods due to dyslexia.  You may have heard the word before — those kids that reverse their b’s and d’s. But dyslexia is actually a learning difference that goes beyond letter reversal and is centered in the way the brain is wired to process language and the written word.

Characteristics of dyslexia can often be detected in children as early as preschool.


  • Delay in learning to talk
  • Difficulty in rhyming
  • Doesn’t enjoy listening to books that are read aloud

  • Difficulty in remembering letters and sounds
  • Cannot say the alphabet without singing
  • Unable to break words into smaller parts ie.base/ball
  • Does not spell phonetically

2nd – 3rd

  • Does not remember common sight words
  • Cannot sound out individual words
  • Guesses or skips words
  • Slow fluency rate
  • Non-phonetic spelling or using incorrect letters for sounds ie. sh for th

4th – 6th

  • Low fluency
  • Avoidance of reading
  • Inability to decode more complex words
  • Reduced vocabulary
  • Uses simple words in writing that are easy to spell

Unlike traditional dyslexia programs that require you to pay a therapist to sit down with your child 3-4 times per week, our unique program is done over the internet, so no matter where you live, as long as you have a computer and webcam, you have access to our expert instruction.

Here’s how it works. One 45 minute session per week is taught by your therapist. Then, your therapist will send a practice plan for you and your child to work on during the rest of the week which will include computer games, fluency passages, and traditional table-top reading and spelling exercises.  Your therapist is there to guide you through the entire process as you work through 26 levels of direct, multisensory instruction tailored to your child’s specific needs.
